  1. The original Tom says:

Thanks for doing the podcasts guys, I enjoy them. Matter of fact:
11 of 18 (now 19) MLS teams are WEST of the Mississippi. Admittedly
the new schedule will result in less travel for Vancouver, but I’d
guess it will mean more travel for Colorado and Sporting Kansas.
And, I think it is a shame Vancouver will only play Toronto and
    Montreal once each.

  2. Chris Webb says:

Yeah, I kind of regretted saying that the second it came out of my
mouth. Most times I speak a little too quickly before forming the
correct thought. What I meant to say was that the majority of teams
in MLS are Central Time Zone or East for TV purposes and the larger
TV markets are definitely in the Eastern half of the US (Los
    Angeles excepted). thanks for listening

  3. The original Tom says:

No worries, don’t need to be a nitpick. Actually 8 teams are in the
Pacific and Mountain time zones. So, a slim majority are in Eastern
    and Central time zones.

  4. The original Tom says:

Woops, bad math. That makes 11 of 19 in the Eastern and Central
    time zones.

  5. ddtigers says:

Great podcast boys. There are some good MLS podcasst out there but
the Chris and Chris show gives me the best information and insight.
You guys are there not to just crack jokes but give some real
thoughtful opinions. As a Fire fan I’m not troubled about you
talking about DC. It just shows me you speak with passion and are
real fans. Keep it up. I just started watching MLS in 2007 and
Soccer in general for that matter. I wish I was watching from the
beginning of MLS. So I love it when you guys talk about the league
in the early years, it gives me a idea what it was like back then.
    Keep the podcast coming!
