Regarding your comments on attendance at Revs’ home games, I can’t
blame New Englanders for not turning out. This has been a dead
franchise walking for years. The ownership has spent years
aggressively ignoring the soccer team, treating it and its fans
like crap. It was an awful team (for several years) playing (still)
on an awful pitch in an awful stadium for soccer with an awful
atmosphere located in an awful location… hard for fans to get to,
even if there was much to make them want to get there. I’m not sure
if they even have a marketing department, the useless owners have
probably got rid of that too, but if they do, I don’t envy their
task.
