Women’s Soccer Games at 2012 Summer Olympics: US TV and Internet Listings

The 2012 Summer Olympics will feature over 10,000 athletes from 204 countries. Out of all of the different sporting events, there’s a lot of excitement and anticipation built around the soccer matches, for both the men and women.

For viewers in the United States, all soccer games will be shown live — including many on a dedicated NBCUniversal Soccer Channel (check your local listings to see where it’ll be on your cable or satellite system). Since the number of sporting events shown is quite massive, the number of choices of where to watch the games is quite overwhelming. But, we’ve gone ahead and dissected it for you, and have broken down where you’ll be able to see each of the women’s soccer games.

Tablet and Smartphone Apps

For Olympics coverage on your iPhone and iPad, you can download the NBC Olympics Live Extra app for free from iTunes. And you can also get it for free if you have an Android phone. That app will feature live streaming coverage of every single sport from the Olympics. Note, that the app only works for TV subscribers who currently get CNBC or MSNBC (you’ll need to enter your TV provider details to gain access to the live streaming).

If you live in the UK, the BBC has its own iPhone and iPad app for live Olympics coverage, as well as a version for smartphones running Android.

    use for your cable to satellite provider.
